Abstract
Pigeons are considered as one of the important pigeons bred in Egypt as it supply an important source of animal protein especially squabs. The parasitic diseases act as a problem facing pigeon’s production. So the present study dealt with parasites infesting pigeons collected from various localities in Dakahlia and Damieta provinces. Out of 225 pigeons examined, 152 were infested with ectoparasites (67.55%); these pigeons were 144 adult pigeons and 81 squabs.
