Abstract

The present investigation deals with the distribution and seasonal behaviour of zooplankton at the terminal segment of the Damietta Branch north to El - Mansoura.Ten stations were selected along a distance of about 100 km.Nine of them lie between El - Mansoura and Faraskour impound-ment while the remaining one is located at Damietta Estuary.sampling of zooplankton was carried out monthly during the period august 1978-july 1979.
