Abstract
This work studies the nature, origin, histopatholo-gical and histochemical composition of the schistosomal pigment accumulated in liver, spleen and pancreas of swiss albino mice infested with 20 to 30 cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni. The animals was sacrificied at one month intervals over a period of 8 months after infesta-tion.
