Abstract
Melanocyte stimulating hormones (MSH’s) represent one of the major determinants of human melanin pigmentation. MSH’s comprise 3 peptides ,α-, β- and ɤ-MSH, that are derived from a common precursor, proopiiome lanocortin which involve the precursor of α-MSH, ACTH, the precursor of β-MSH, β-LPH, and pro-ɤ-MSH.
