Abstract

This thesis proposes a strategy based on structuring a framework to start transporting process from public utility to private utility. The proposed framework consists of the following phases: data collection, market overview, suggested deterministic techno-economical modules and proposed stochastic techno-economical modules. The suggested deterministic techno-economical modules include: • Nodal pricing of a bundled product of both real and reactive power for competitive electricity market. In this module, a proposed nodal pricing of a bundled product of both real and reactive power for competitive electricity market is presented. The nodal pricing consists of three parts as: energy price, loss price, and congestion price. This module also proposes an algorithm to relief the problems due to congestion. • A new approach to increase the supply continuity for supporting competitive electricity market. In this module, logic based expert system for fault diagnosis in power systems for competitive electricity market is discussed. • New approach for load flow to improve voltage control solurion. • Fast voltage control process based on genetic neural. The suggested modules are applied to IEEE-30 bus power system (CASE I and CASE II), 66 KV and 220 KV Delta Network of Delta Zone.
