Abstract
IN the present study , the effect of various con – centrations of D – glucose on 86 Rrrrbefflux rate from Peri- fused islets of adult, fetal , new born , and old –age rats was studied . Theeffect of tobutamide , eucine, theo- phylline and Ca2+ionphore A23187 on insulin realease and 86Rb effux from perfused islets of feta rats was estimated islets of fetal rats was estimed . The action of L-cysteine , N – acetlylcysteine , in presence of 3and 11.2mM D- gucose on 86Rb efflux rate from erifused islets of adut rats was determined.
The interaction between tolbutamide , indomethacin and propoxyphene on insulin release ,86Rb efflux and 45Ca up take into isolated isets of adult rats was also investigated .
