Abstract
Schistosomiais is atropical diseases which affects at least 200 million people throughout the world. It is responsible for 800,000 deaths per year. Chemotherapy remains the major mean for controling schistosomiasis because vaccine is not yet available .Praziquantel was reported to be the best anthelminthic drug for the clinical management of schistosomiasis since it is highly effective against all species of schistosomes parasitizing man and it has minimal side effects.
