Abstract

A self propelled spray pesticide machine with one worker. The developed machine can control in spray rate pesticide per feddan by used air pressure with pump pressure. The mechanical and work rate performances of that self propelled was inspected. whereas draught requirements, operating stability, and field efficiency are studied for different operating speeds and surfaces condition, spray height, and pump pressure with air pressure. In addition, the spray pattern distribution was tested using three spray height (300 to 500mm), four pump pressure (2to 5 bar), three air pressure (1 to 3 bar) and two levels forward speed (2.8and4.8km/h). and comparison between this machine and develop spray ( mortality, damaged of plant, power specific capacity and cost of unit area) The results showed that: - The minimum rolling requirements (0.57KN/hared and unload) the maximum (3.67KN / tilled and load) the degree angle of lateral stability must have less than 15-20 degree but in longitudinal 20-25 degree. The maximum power requirement5.7hp under used 10bar for pump and compressor and forward speed 6 km/h. the maximum flow rate between external and internal nozzle 9.5% The minimum rate of coefficient of variation 10.2% /pump pressure 5bar and spray height 500mm.and with air pressure11.2%/pump pressure 5bar with air pressure3barand spray height 400mm while the maximum value with coefficient of symmetry 99.1% and with air pressure 96.4% the maximum of the minimum point with used pump pressure 5 bar spray height 500mm was 55.2% but with used air pressure 3bar with pump pressure 5bar and spray height 400mm was 49%.the rate of motility was increased by 96.7% by used air pressure. The less soil sweeping from both ridge sides is accomplished when planting of cut tuber seed using the double- row flat ridge method. The net economic revenue using the developed sprayer represents about 62% of the traditional spraying method (manual).
