Abstract
The Egyptian beach placers occur in the northern part along the Mediterranean coast of Egypt which extends from El - Sallum on the west to Rafah to the east reaching about 900 Km in length. They contain several important economic minerals still waiting for further investigations and evaluation to be properly exploited. from these minerals, two are the most important c. f. zircon and rutile which are utilized in several and specific industrial applications. The present study deals with the concentration and upgrading of both minerals using different techniques of separation and concentration.
