Abstract
Data palm tree (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is one of the oldest cultivated fruit trees in the world. In Egypt, its number reaches about 7 millions palm trees of a production amounted carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture (1988).
Artificial hand pollination long time ago, it was known that represents a great task for the date palm growers and such practice should de done using the most viable pollens in order to assure a successful fruit-setting and consequently higher gross yield.
