Abstract

Orange melon or ”Chate of Egypt” which is also known locally as Agoor and Classified as a vegetable plant. It belongs to the family ”Cucurbitaceae” and has the scientific name: Cucumis melo Var. Chate, L. Agoor is rich in neutral minerals. Vitamins and easier for digestion than sweet melon, watermelon or cantaloupe.
