Abstract The present study aims to evaluate the clinical significance of measuring artial natriuretic peptide ANP and probrain natriuretic peptide proBNP in ischemic heart disease. The study was conducted on 37 patients and 10 healthy subjects. We demonstrated the following results: 1 In group I (patients with unstable angina): Significant increase in ANP and Pro BNO levels in comparison to controls 2 In group II (patients with myocardial infarction): significant increase in ANP and pro BNP levels in comparison to controls and non significant difference in Echoparameters. 3 In group III (patient with ischemic cardiomyopathy): significant increase in ANP and pro BNP levels and in Echoparameters in comparison to controls and other group |
