Abstract
The thesis presents an experimental study of the performance of a glass-hot-wire thermal diffusion column for gas mixtures. The measurements are carried out using a column whose dimensions are: L = 251.5 cm and r1/r2 = 50. In order to keep the general conditions under which the column is operated in case of gas mixtures as close as possible to those of isotopic mixtures (for which the available theory of the column is supposed to be valid).
