Abstract
This study was carried out with the aim of exploring some epidemiological eatures of menopause and associated health problems. Also, this study was iming to determin the prevalence of common health problems among women at eriand post menopausal age in Mansoura city and their risk factors. Study he prevalence of sexual dysfunction among the women accepted to participate n the study. Finally, this work study the profile ofHRT use among the studied This work was conducted on out patients clinic of Gynacology in ansousa University teaching Hospital and the other part of sample was collected from community. Total number of studied groups was 400-300 of them their age was above 40 years and others’( 100 ) below 40 years as control The mean age of menopause in the present study was ( 50,24 ± 3.11 ) for total females; about 1.5 years earlier in nuliparity and professional females, due to stress, low physical activity and life - style, The menopause associated with a wide varity of physical and psychological symptoms including hot. flushes ( 63% ), sleep disterbance ( 58.3% ) and palpitation ( 57.3% ) respectively in this work.
