Abstract Chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limb can be defined as ustained venous hypertension causeD by valvular incompetence or , utflow obstruction or both . . For the evaluation of patients represented with CVI Duplex scan been proved to be a unique diagnostic method that allows simultaneous morphological and functional examination of blood vessels in the context of the surrounding tissue. It can confirm the diagnosis of perforators incompetence, map their location and define the extent of valvular incompetence or obstruction of the superficial and deep veins of the leg. There are many ways for management of patients with CVI. It is important to control incompetent perforators which can be done in several ways: 1- Surgical treatment. 2- Endoscopic subfascial division. 3- Injection of perforators. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of innovative method of Duplex-guided occlusion of perforators in patients with CVI via peri-intravascular juxtafascial injection of human glue. |
