Abstract
Traumi to the head in the pediatric age group is one of the most common accidents in infants and children, with increasing numner of vehicles in our society, traffic acciljents account for mail)cause of trauma. Age and sex include differ according to many factors an in traffic accidents males exposed to injury more than females up to age of five years and there is equallty of inCIdence from 5 to to years old in both sexes. Although pathological changes in the head injuries of cllildren are similar to those of adults the diagnosis may be more dilcult in the pecilatrlc group because of sevef’a lanatonucat factors when the et feets of trauma, tnittal symptomatology varies according to the type o f trauma.
