Abstract
The present work has been conducted on 138 adult non¬obese subjects with ages between 35 and 50 years. They were classified into 4 groups: Group I: Comprised 35 nondiabetic nonsmokers who were further divided into: 1. subgroup A of 20 subjects. subgroup B of 15 subjects. Group II: Comprised 33 nondiabetic smokers who smoke at least 20 cigarettes/day since at least 10 years. They were sub¬divided into: 2. subgroup A of 18 smokers, subgroup B of 15 smokers. Comprised 35 diabetic nonsmokers with history of diabetes since at least 10 years. They were under oral hypoglycemic treatment. They were further, subdivided 1. subgroup A of 20 diabetics 2. subgroup B of 15 diabetics.
