Abstract This work was planned mainly to throw some light on the acteriological complications and immunological, biochemical nd clinical data in patients with liver cirrhosis and ilharzial hepatic fibrosis i~1 a trial to explain the as well as the pathogenesis of infective in these children. The patients included in this study were 34 cases with liver cirrhosis or bilharzial hepatic tibrosis. Their ages ranged from 24 to 132 months. They 23 males and 11 females. They were selected from pediatric gastroenterology outpatient clinic, Mansoura Hospital. All patients were subjected to: Full history taking & through clinical examination. Urine & stool analysis. Sigmoidoscopy. Complete blood picture. 5- Complete liver fun~tion tests. 6- Renal function tests. 7- Abdominal ultra sonography. 8- Liver biopsy. 9- Ascitic fluid examination in cases with ascites. |
