Abstract The material of the present study comprised 200 healthy ladies of chronic pill use selected from the Family Planning and Gynecologic and Medical Out-Patient Clinics of Mansoura University Hospital as well as from healthy volunteers. in- the years from 1986 to 1988. _ Their ages ranging from 20 to 34 years (mean 30.42 + 4.464 years) and their parity between 0 and 8. Fourty healthy women who had not previously used hormonal contraceptives constituated the control groUp and were of the same age; parity and social status. Excluded from this studY were ladies with hypertension: diabetes; bilharzial hepatic fibrosis or coronary artery disease as well as ladies above 34 years old. |
