Abstract

The cause of AD is unknOwng however the pro duction of clinical disease depends on the inter play of numerous constitutional and precipitating factors. To clarify the hereditary role played in the pathogenesis of AD9 30 patients suffering from different varities of the disease were chosen random and subjected to the following: I- Thorough history and clinical examination. 2- Pedigree construction. 3- Full blood picture. 4- HLA phenotyping as a genetic marker. Having decided that AD is of multifactorial naturep thus it was important to study the associa- tion of the disease with a genetic marker. The results we obtained were slim.narised as follow: HLA haplotypes of patients with (AD) were illustrated. Some antigens are blank either due to.
