Abstract

This study was conducted on 25 patients submitted to urology & Nephrology Center- Mansoura university for elective renal surgery. They were stratified into three groups. - Hypoalbuminaemia group .
- Hypoalbuminaemia high-transaminases group .
- High transaminases group.
They were preoperatively examined and investigated to exclude advanced liver di~eases , patients with endoceinal and mental troubles . They were anaesthetized with titrated ketamine -Midazolam infusion, vecuronium according to patient body wight . They were monitored for pulse, mean bl.pr. every 30 minutes through the operation and for 3 hours postoperative- Return of amnesia , analgesic requirement were recorded . We found that regimen not deteriorate the liver function in the hepatic patients also its analgesic effects is enough.
