Abstract The present work deals with spectroscopic, thermal, electrical and magnetic investigations of PVDF films filled/composites BiCl3, LaNi3Co2, SmNi3Co2, and TbNi3Co2. Spectroscopic and thermal investigations were carried out for the prepared films using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Xray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) or Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Also, DC electrical resistivity ((Su? (Band Magnetoresistance (MR) were measured. The FTIR analysis detected the presence of ga sand gbsphases and headtohead and tailtotail polymer chain defects. The maximum and minimum value of htoh was fount at 35% and 60%, respectively. These results were confirmed by XRD and DSC analysis. Xray analysis confirmed the presence of ga sand gbsphase. In DSC therograms, a sharp endothermic peak at T1 <U+2248> 444 K was due to melting. This peak was used to calculate the order of reaction, which was n <U+2248> 1, indicating an undecompsed reactants, and the activation energy of melting. DC electrical conduction was attributed to the one dimensional interpolaron hopping mechanism. |
