Abstract This thesis presents a sensorless digital controller model and the power converter circuit. This controller operates in both open loop and closed loop configurations. The mathematical model of the switched reluctance motor was developed using MATLAB / SIMULINK software. Many results have been obtained, due to the variation of the controllable variables such as, D.C. power voltage variation, reference speed variation, current limit variation, the load torque variation, the switchon angle variation, and the switchoff angle variation.
