Abstract
Most of the present work has focussed on exploring the synthetic potentialities of ketonic and diketonic Mannich bases, as well as bisbases, as intermediates in heterocyclic synthesis. ?The material presented in this work is separated into four main parts: 1. NAlkylation of primary amines and diamines with aryl ketonic and diketonic Mannich bases 2. Reactions of ketonic Mannich bases with hydrazines 2.1: Synthesis of 1,3diaryl2pyrazolines 2.2: Synthesis of 2H1,2,4triazepines 3. SAlkylation of thiols with aryl ketonic and diketonic Mannich bases 4. CAlkylation of pyridinium salts with ketonic and diketonic Mannich bases
