Abstract
CNV is a commoon case of visual loss specially in age related macular degeneration . Accurate diagnosis and localization is a must for treatment . Materials and method: We performed a prospective study of 59 eyes attenting the outpatients clinic of mansoura Ophthalmic center , having CVN baswd on FA , ICGA was performed and the results of FA, and ICGA were compared . Results : Ther was a total of 6 CNV classified as 57 classiic and 9 accult type. 1 ” Heamarr hage was pressent in 30 eyes . ” Pigment was present in 6 eyes. ” Obscuration by hemorrhage and pigment was found in 25 eyes on FA and in only 8 eyes in ICGA. Conclusion : FA is better for studying occult CNV and cases associated with haemorrhage and pigment .
