Abstract This study has been carried out on 74 patients with hernatological malignancies (45 males and 29 females). Their ages ranged from 15 to 70 years. Ten control subjects were studied in parallel. The patients were classified into 2 main groups : 1-GrOUP P Lymphoid neoplasms group (28 cases). a-Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NBL) : 17 cases. b-Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) : 6cases. c-Hodgkin’s disease (HD) : 5 cases. II- Group IP Myeloid neoplasms (17 cases) : a-Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) 6 cases. b-Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) : 11 cases. Twenty nine cases were followed up after therapy : I-Groap I, Lymphoid neoplasms; comprised 5 cases with NHL, 4 cases with HD and 6 cases with CLL. 2-Group IP Myeloid neoplasms ; comprised 4 cases with CML and I 0 cases with, AML of which 7 cases have achieved complete remission while the remaining 3 cases underwent partial remission. |
