Abstract
This study was done to evaluate the effect of the disinfectant agents (Chloramine T and Sodium hypochlorite) when they were added to alginate as a third method of disinfection and comparing this method with the other two methods of disinfection (immersion and spray ) . This was done as follow : 1Studying the bacteriological effect of these disinfectant agents . 2 biological study which include the histological study and the toxicity test . 3 Measuring the dimensional stability of the disinfected alginate indirectly . 4Evaluate the compatibility of the disinfected alginate with gypsum by studying the surface detail and the surface hardness of the resulting models.
