Abstract
The work concerns the mechanics of momentum and heat transfer in the flow of a fluid of constant properties between parallel disks. In divergent flow the laminar problem has been thoroughly investigated while work on turbulent flow in this configuration is both limited and sporadic. The following is on attempt at tying up the present state of knowledge with the few available experimental investigations.
