Abstract
The tristimulus values, chromaticity coordinates, colour difference, and dominant wavelengths for twenty four different samples of Egyptian cotton fibres were calculated based on their spectral reflectance values, which were measured using the Pye Unicam sp 1800 spectrophotometer. Grading of Egyptian cotton fibres according to colorimetric parameters was studied.
