Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the possibility of using chelated iron and manganese and some growth regulators (IAA & GA3), either singly or in combination, for improvement of plants growth and quality through the availability of iron and manganese that were expected to be defficient in calcareous soils under investigation. Two experiments were carried out, in which plants were subjected at the 4th. leaf stage to foliar treatments with growth regulators. Chelated iron and manganese were applied either as foliar or as soil treatments.
