Abstract The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of GA3, IAA, Alar-85 & Kinrtin on the vegetative development of Ricinus communis plants&on the rhizospheric microflora. The changes in stem elongation, water content & dry matter accumulation in the treated plants varied sometimes slightly & sometimes markedly from one experimental period to another. These variations are due in part to the effective concentrations of the various growth substances & in part to an interaction with environmental conditions. Growth substances induced changes in the chemical composition carbohydrate, organic & amino acids of the root exudates of the variously treated plants. |
