Abstract
The present thesis deals with the biological characteristics and antimicrobial potentialities of a Streptomyces isolate that belongs to the yellow series of Streptomycetes and that was isolated from Egyptian soil sample near Tanta City in Egypt. The following results and data were obtained : A- The study of the morphology of spore chains proved that it produces spiral chains of spores and electron microscopy of spores showed that spores are barrell-shaped with bare smooth surface.
