Abstract The main objective of this thesis is to help provide an effective and reliable disaster recovery strategy that serves the cloud-based E-health sector. It consists of five chapters, with Arabic and English summaries, in addition to a list of contents, a list of figures, a list of publications, and a list of references. In chapter 1, presented an overview of cloud computing concerning related topics. The motivations, objectives, and contributions of the submitted thesis were also identified. In chapter 2, presented a general background on cloud computing and the problem of disaster recovery in the E-health cloud. Efforts to solve disaster recovery issues in the E-Health Cloud were also presented by reviewing some literature on the topic and related works. The problem of optimizing data scheduling procedures in cloud computing was also presented and the use of optimization algorithms for data scheduling in cloud computing. In chapter 3, the proposed system is presented, along with the system regulatory aspects, the system architecture, and the system of procedures for scheduling cloud-based E-health data during system failure to address the problem of disaster recovery. Data recovery procedures for the proposed system using optimization algorithms were also presented. In chapter 4, some experiments are presented to test the efficiency of the proposed system and evaluate its performance to solve the problem of disaster recovery in the E-health cloud environment. The results of the proposed system are presented and discussed in this chapter. In chapter 5, contains a general conclusion & future work. The results of this search were also published in a specialized scientific journal. |
