Abstract There have been no reports about the disease’s situation in New valley province, Egypt. The goal of this study was to serodiagnosis of BVD infection by Serum Neutralization Test (SNT) and diagnosis of PI animals using BVDV Ag (POC)Test, Double antibody Sandwich ELISA (DS. ELISA) and RT-qPCR A total of 1400 cattle’s and 450 camels were screened for detection of BVDV infection, from total 260 clinically diseased cattle, the results revealed that 83 cattle out of 260 (31.9%) were detected as seropositive by SNT According to BVDV Sandwich ELISA, the results revealed that 13 cattle out of 96 (13.54%) were positive (PI animal positive). Also 11 out of 20 clinically diseased cattle tested positive (55%) in BVDV Ag Point-of-Care Test Rendering to Real- time PCR, the results revealed that 45 cattle out of 50 (90%) were BVDV positive. |
