Abstract SUMMARY T his study was conducted to evaluate the effect of systemic pulse blood pressure on right ventricular diastolic pressure and prediction of right ventricular systolic function by evaluating a clinical side test in estimating right ventricular diastolic pressure and systolic performance using new formulas in patients with pulmonary hypertension. We hobe that new equations will replace more invasive manuvers and predict its values. In this study Systolic and diastolic blood pressures measured by a sphygmomanometer were searched from patient files. Analysis of right atrium waveforms from pulmonary artery cardiac catheterization previously performed on patients to extract equation values. The data were formulated into equations to predict right-sided heart diastolic pressure and systolic function. 40 patients were studied in the proposed formulas The results showed that TAPSE was found to be associated with mean CVP and (A+V) with (r=-0.350, P=0.02) and (r=-0.414, P=0.008), respectively. As for assessing diastolic pressure in the right ventricle The results showed that the reported right ventricular diastolic pressure (PRVDc) was related to the systemic pulse pressure and CVI (r = 0.671, P = 0.001) and (r = 0.312, P = 0.05), respectively. In the end, the equations showed some results that were close to predicted ones, but the regression equations need more studies in the future to be better evaluated |
