Abstract In the present study, the antiviral activity of star anise and green tea extracts were evaluated in broiler infected with HPAIV (H5N8), through, clinical signs, PM lesions, body weight, weight gain, haemagglutination inhibition test and viral shedding. There were six groups with different treatments. Vaccinated non- challenged and non-treated group (G A). Vaccinated challenged and treated with star anise extracts groups (G B). Treated with star anise non vaccinated and challenged (G C). Vaccinated& challenged and treated with green tea (G D). (G E) challenged treated with green tea and non -vaccinated groups. (G F) challenged nontreated non-vaccinated. |
