Abstract This thesis aims to study the hydrodynamic effects and salt gradient in the branch estuary Rosetta, using water current modeling. Marine estuaries are important environments where fresh water meets salt water, this causes a gradual interference in salinity and currents. Hydrodynamic models have been used to simulate these complex interactions, focusing on the effects of Change in water level and increase in the volume of fresh water on the flow and salinity gradient. The results represent that In this study, a complex interaction between different aspects of the White Sea was obtained average, and provides a deeper understanding of downstream behavior over variable periods. The results have shown an effect Rising water levels and increasing freshwater volume affect hydrologica patterns and salinity gradients Downstream. |
