Abstract This chapter includes an overview of previous researches for waste water and it’s sludge treatment and use ligand in heavy metal treatment. Also has an overview of previous researches of pollution of sludge (parasite and heavy metals) and use down flow hanging sponge in waste water treatment and use of EDTA in heavy metals treatment and their application. Experimental This chapter contains the chemical and machines used in practical part of thesis as follow: 1- The chemical method measuring such as heavy metal (Pb, Cd,Zn,Cr,Ni,Cu andFe),total suspended solids(TSS) 2- Preparation of the ligand Diethyl oxalate and its metal Complexes. 3- preparation of Schiff base and its metal Complexes. 4- characterization of the ligand, Schiff base and its metals complexes: Physical technique such as molar conductance. * Spectral technique as H-NMR spectra, IR spectrum, Electronic spectrum, Electron spin resonance (ESR), Thermal Analyses (DTA and TGA), English Summary 145 Result and discussion This chapter includes characterization of raw waste water sludge and use the Hydrazine Compounds and their metal complexes to treatment of raw waste water sludge from heavy metals and parasite to be safe for agriculture application as organic agriculture which classified as: Research Scheme 1: Assessment the efficiency of addition 1.0 g/l dose of ligand and its Complexes in raw wastewater sludge treatment from: - Increase the concentration of solid. - Heavy metal treatment.
