Abstract The purpose of this study was to detect the frequency of sleep related breathing disorders in COPD patients and its impact on sleep quality of such patients. This study was carried out at chest department and out-patient clinic, Zagazig University hospitals in the period from February 2016 till August 2016. It included 60 stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with different grades of severity as assessed by spirometry according to (GOLD, 2016). They were 42 males and 18 females with age range from 38 to 70 years and mean age of 58.46 ± 7.87 years. |
