Abstract
This prospective randomized controlled double blind clinical trial study was carried out on 70 patients of both sex Scheduled for day case surgery under spinal anesthesia to compare between intrathecal hyperbaric prilocaine 2% and hyperbaric bupivacaine 0.5% in improvement of safety and efficacy of anesthesia and readiness for discharge after ambulatory surgery and they were admitted to Tanta University Hospitals during the period from August 2022 to February 2023.
