Abstract This research aimed at investigating the effect of using Electronic Vlogs for enhancing secondary stage students’ critical writing and self-esteem. Sixty secondary stage students from Ehnasia secondary school were selected as participants of the research. The research adopted the quasi-experimental design as The sixty participants were divided into two groups, each of thirty participants. The treatment group was taught using electronic vlogs while the non-treatment group was taught following the regular instruction. The instruments of the research included a critical writing test (pre &post) and a self-esteem scale (pre &post).The results of the present study indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the post administration of the two groups in favor of the treatment group. The results also indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the non-treatment group and that of the treatment group in the post administration of the students’ self-esteem scale in favor of the treatment group.
