Abstract TKA leads to much improvement in overall quality of life in more than 90% of patients. The main indications for TKA still are torment and functional disability. While relative indications include deformity, instability, and loss of movement. The aim of this work was to evaluate the patient reported outcome of TKR in osteoarthritic knee with varus deformity. 25 consecutive series of patients suffered from knee osteoarthritis with genu varum deformity treated by total knee arthroplasty. Those patients had been treated and followed up post operatively for six months. The age of the cases ranged between 50.0 to 75.0 years with an average of 58.88 years. There were 22 females and 3 males. There is no relationship between age or sex or BMI and oxford knee score. There is positive relation between the improvement of radiological knee angles and oxford knee score. There is improvement in total oxford knee score pre operative mean was 11±4.03 while post operative mean was 38.12±7.62. and there was much improvement in all parameters of oxford and EQ5D5L questionare according to pain, motion, walking ability, and doing usual activities |
