Over the past few years, the prevalence of overweight and obesity has doubled worldwide among all ages and both sexes, regardless of geographic location, race, or socioeconomic status, although obesity is more prevalent in the elderly and women. Indeed, several institutions and organisations have varied definitions of obesity, making it a complicated multifactorial condition. Over the last several years, the incidence of overweight and obesity has more than quadrupled globally, regardless of geographic location, race, or socioeconomic class, however obesity is more frequent among the elderly and women. Despite the fact that food is the primary cause of obesity, nutrition has lately been utilised to prevent and cure obesity.
