Abstract Despite continuous improvements in surgical techniques, bile duct complications are still common in liver transplantation patients, it includes strictures, bile leaks, stone or sludge and dysfunction of sphincter of Oddi. Biliary leaks and strictures are the most common encountered complications. The Non-surgical management guidelines for biliary complications include conservative, endoscopic and percutaneous transhepatic approaches. With advances in interventional radiological techniques, the interventional radiologist has become an essential member of the liver transplant team and the judicious use of interventional radiological procedures is invaluable in the management of complications after liver transplantation |
