Abstract

Upper eye lid entropion is an eyelid malposition in which the upper eye lid is turned inward against the globe. It can cause ocular morbidity.Cicatrcial entropion is produced when there is a vertical shortening of the Tarsus secondary to scaring of ocular by trachoma,Steven’s Johnson syndrome, ocular cicatrcial pemphegoid, herpes zoster, trauma and chemical injury.Meibomain gland dysfunction is one of the most important cause of dry eye. MGD is a chronic, diffuse, abnormal of the meibomain gland characterized by duct obstruction and or quantitative/qualitative Changes of gland secretion. Patient may have original pathology of MGD before surgery. Preoperative evaluation of the patient detect degree of MGD. Post operative evaluation will detect if MGD improved or get worse. The aim of the study is to compare MGD before and after cicatrcial entropion surgery. The study concluded 30 eyelid of 30 patient were divided into two groups:
