Abstract The aim of this research is to study the impact of strategic leadership and its impact on organization performance via crisis decision making process, with applying this study on some pharmaceutical companies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The importance of this research derives firstly from the important role that is usually played effectively by the strategic institution planning leadership in creating new methods and tools not only to confront sudden events and crises, but also to take preventive actions to mitigate the negative impact of the crisis, and secondly, from the urgent need of setting up a business contingency (continuity) plan to be able to deal with crisis at the same time of keeping the business operations continuity . The current research deals with analyzing the relationship and impact between leadership with all its components and practices and organization performance via crisis decision making during the latest outbreak of Covid-19. It also started from a research problem represented by dealing with crises in institutions surviving in an uncertain environment, of the importance of leadership To achieve this descriptive study, to describe the role of leadership as (main construct) with its components which are: information, decision making skills, risk management, setting priorities, professional competences and risk management as (independent variables) on organization performance (dependent variable) via crisis decision making (Mediator) in some pharmaceutical companies with minimal interference from the researcher, a hypothetical model that expresses the logical relationships between the variables of the research is adopted. To reveal the nature of the relationships represented in the research model, the current policy tends to present a set of hypotheses as initial answers to the research hich seeks to verify its validity and accuracy. A Questionnaire are the main sources to collect primary data, and reference books, recent journals, trusted internet web sites, constitute the secondary data collection sources.
