المستخلص The study was performed to compare between the effect sprint interval training and moderate intensity cycling training on liver enzymes in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis patient. Subject and Method Sixty nonalcoholic steatohepatitis female patient were selected from Hehia hospital. Their age ranged from (40-50) years old. They had been assigned into two equal groups, The first group (A) included thirty patient who participated in moderate Intensity cycle training three times per week for three months .The second group (B) included thirty patient who participated in sprint interval training exercise three times per week for three months. The serum levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase enzyme, quality of life questionnaire for liver diseases, 6MWT and VO2 max value were assessed before and after 3 months. Result; There were significant impact at ALT (↓17.26 % for group A and ↓15.87 % for group B), AST (↓19.6 % or group A and↓14.94 % for group B), quality of life (↑27.97% for group A and↑ 37.61 % for group B), 6MWT (↑9.8 % for group A and ↑13.26 % for group B) and Vo2 max (↑26.83 % for group A and↑ 31.6 %for group B) while there was no significant difference between both group in steatohepatitis patients. Conclusion: MICT &SIT both improved liver enzyme, VO2 max, 6MWT and quality of life in steatohepatitis patients. There was no significant difference between the effects of sprint interval and moderate intensity cycle training on liver enzyme and higher significant effect of sprint interval than moderate intensity cycle training on improving VO2 max , 6MWT and quality of life in steatohepatitis patients. |
