Abstract

The following findings might be derived within the scope of this study: When creating aesthetic repairs and matching colors, ceramic materials’ composition and thickness may be taken into account. Material brand and thickness both had an impact on the translucency metric, which rose when thickness was reduced for all materials.
No matter the thickness or aging technique, Crios demonstrated statistically substantially greater mean TP and spectral transmission percentages than Cercon.
Thickness had a statistically significant impact on the translucency parameter, and increased thickness for both materials resulted in a reduction in translucency.
With Crios, Cercon 0.3, and 0.5 mm thicknesses and chemical aging, the mean TP increased statistically significantly.
with autoclave and thermal aging. mean TP decreased with age for both materials and both thicknesses in a statistically significant way.
The mean TP was not statistically significantly impacted by the interaction between any of the factors. The variables are independent of one another since there is no statistically significant interaction between them.
In order to avoid a significant optical difference between the examined materials, laminate veneer restorations in the aesthetic zone must be made of the same material. Otherwise, the studied materials’ optical characteristics behavior after age differs.
In comparison to dazzling crios, Cercon HT demonstrated greater color stability following various aging processes.
Brilliant Crios resin-based ceramic was not suggested for use with heavy beverages or acidic foods since it displayed more color change following chemical aging, thermocycling, and autoclaving. Due to laminate veneers’ very sensitive consumers, especially when used in the aesthetic zone and in ultra-thin thicknesses, The mean E was not statistically significantly impacted by the interaction between any of the factors. The variables are independent of one another since there is no statistically significant interaction between them.
