Abstract
There are various treatment options for DCLBP firstly include conservative measures either pharmacological or non-pharmacological (physical therapy,behavior modification and psychotherapy). The therapeutic effects of CMM in patients with CDLBP were found
unsatisfactory in most of published studies together with the added adverse
effects of drugs and drug-drug interaction in comorbid patients.Intradiscal radiofrequency biacuplasty is considered one of the recent minimally invasive interventional techniques that was found to be effective in treating patients with DCLBP who failed to respond to CMM. (Desai MJ et al.
2016).The aim of our study was to assess and compare the therapeutic effect of
IDB technique versus that of CMM in patients with CDLBP during 6 months
follow up.
