The purpose of this research is to study and evaluate the rainfall intensity equations (I) suggested by the Egyptian code for designing potable water and sewage network, taking into consideration the actual rainfall measurements and actual Intensity {u2013} Duration {u2013} Frequency {u2013} (IDF) curves of different cities and compare the results to the computed values obtained from the aforementioned equations. Also, suggest a new equations instead of the code equations. Results indicated that the code equations are not applicable in most rainfall stations. Therefore, it is recommend using the proposed equations
